City of Omaha’s Benson Ice Arena Family Skate Nights, every Sunday from October through March. Skating time is 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.. Cost is $10 for a family of four and $3 for individuals.

The exhibit brings natural sciences to life in a whimsical garden of 19 hands-on activities, including mechanical plants, flowers and creatures. Admission is $2 in addition to regular museum admission. Members and children under 2 are free.

The sixth and final stop of the statewide tour. Developed by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibit Service. Roots music embraces folk, country, blues, gospel, jazz, bluegrass, rock 'n' roll, rap and more.

Omaha Public Schools 150th Anniversary Exhibit

In honor of Omaha Public Schools’ 150th Anniversary, an exhibit at the Durham Museum will take visitors on a journey back to the 1860s to learn what school was like for students and teachers when Omaha was a newly-found frontier town.
