NORFOLK, Neb. (AP) — Police have arrested a 19-year-old man, accusing him of setting his family’s home on fire more than two years ago.
Kalin Riese, already in Madison County jail on unrelated charges, is accused of using gasoline to start a blaze in his family's Norfolk kitchen. The fire occurred in February 2007.
Riese and his parents were home at the time. Norfolk Police Capt. Leon Chapman said the home’s smoke alarms went off, giving family members the warning they needed to get out safely.
