MITCHELL, Neb. (AP) -- Scotts Bluff County authorities say a 52-year-old man has bled to death in a mowing accident.
Scotts Bluff County Sheriff's investigator Mike Cotant says Jesse Guzman of rural Mitchell died after midnight Tuesday.
Cotant says Guzman was mowing weeds in a pasture east of town when the mower deck hit a pipe.
Guzman turned off the tractor as he got down to remove the pipe.
But, Cotant says, somehow the mower deck ran over Guzman, fatally cutting him.
