WASHINGTON – Sen. Mike Johanns, R-Neb., has been picked to serve on a bipartisan impeachment committee for a federal judge in Texas.
The Senate took the first steps Wednesday to put U.S. District Judge Samuel B. Kent on trial for impeachment. That included naming the impeachment committee, which will hold hearings on the matter.
