The four peregrine falcon chicks atop Omaha's Woodmen Tower now have names.
Magnus, Inina, Willow and Isis are doing well and flying around downtown Omaha, said Tim Sautter, the vice president of Tower Management. The contest to name the chicks started at the end of May.
A committee chose 12 finalists from a list of potential names submitted by the public. People then voted on their four favorite names based on the finalist list.
Laura Daum of Omaha proposed Magnus' name - the only male in the bunch.
Barbary Denham of Robertsdale, Ala. , named Inina. Karen Andreasen of Blair named Isis. Tena Boucher, also of Blair, named Willow.
