Two Nickerson, Neb., men were injured Monday morning when a car rolled on a rural road north of Fremont, the Dodge County Sheriff said.
Jared Sweet, 18, and Daniel Hernandez, 26, were flown by helicopter to Creighton University Medical Center after the crash, which occurred shortly before 9 a.m., Sheriff Steve Hespen said.
Their condition at the hospital was not available Monday night.
Rescuers had to extricate the two from a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu that veered into a ditch along a county road four miles north of Fremont and rolled, toppling a power pole, Hespen said. The Malibu landed on its top on the downed pole, where rescuers found it teetering.
Hernandez had been a passenger in the four-door car, which was driven by Sweet, Hespen said.
