Papillion has spent about $35,000 for off-site, wireless access video surveillance cameras and an additional $6,000 to acquire computer software so the system works properly.
Three police cruisers will be equipped to receive live video feeds sometime in September. The broadband connections will cost $50 a month for each cruiser.
