What is it?

Kickin' Aronia Glaze is a sweet-sour-spicy condiment made from chipotle peppers and aronia berries. The berries, also called chokeberries, are tart and midnight blue. They have the same mouth-drying properties as chokecherries, but they do not have inner seeds or pits. They are a rich source of antioxidants and, though too chalky and sour to eat on their own, they make an interesting addition to other fruit blends, jams and smoothies.

Spotted at

The S & S Truck Farms stand at the Florence Mill Farmers Market on Sunday.

How to use

Brush on grilled vegetables, drizzle a little over a brie-topped cracker, or use as a dip for grilled pork or chicken skewers.
