SEEN: After every Husker player had left the field Saturday, freshman quarterback Cody Green remained and continued to get a tutorial session from offensive coordinator Shawn Watson and assistants Tim Beck and Barney Cotton.
HEARD: “I know one thing, there wasn't a guy in the group who played perfect.'' — NU coach Bo Pelini, after being asked if anybody stood out in Saturday's scrimmage
OUT: Redshirt freshman linebacker Sean Fisher joined Ricky Henry and Alfonzo Dennard as key Huskers who didn't scrimmage. “He tweaked his ankle a little bit, so we chose to hold him out at the very end,'' Pelini said of Fisher.
NEXT UP: It's the first day off for the Huskers after nine practices in eight days to start preseason camp. A busy week follows that includes scheduled two-a-days on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
