Landscaper Jim Keepers stresses the importance of having a state-certified arborist do tree work. The arborist also may be a member of the National Association of Arborists or the International Society of Arboriculture.
Certified NAA arborists can be found online at www.NEarborists.org. ISA-certified arborists are listed at www.isa-arbor.com.
Keepers said anyone doing tree work in Omaha, Lincoln and Fremont must have an arborist license from that city.
