Church art thefts police attributed to Aurelio Vallecillo-Sanchez:

May 6, 2006: Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, seven paintings including a historic “Divine Mercy” painting of Jesus from Poland

Late May 2006: St. Thomas More Catholic Church, painting of Jesus and Mary

June 15, 2006: St. Joseph Catholic Church, 16 paintings including Stations of the Cross

June 20, 2006: All Saints Episcopal Church, a large Madonna and child painting

March 16, 2007: St. Cecilia Cathedral, “The Virgin Immaculata,” a Spanish Colonial painting of the Virgin Mary

Still unsolved:

April 11, 2007: First Covenant Church, “The Head of Christ,” a painting by Warner Sallman
