SEEN: Larry the Cable Guy, a regular attendee at Nebraska's practices and games, was on the sidelines for much of Wednesday's on-the-field session.
FELT: Rain showers fell most of the day in Lincoln, noticeably cooling the air. The Huskers avoided it, though. The entire 142-man roster worked inside the Hawks Center for around two hours Wednesday.
HEARD: “Doesn't matter whether it's the beginning, end, middle. It doesn't really matter, does it?” — coach Bo Pelini, commenting on his players' apparent lack of focus at times Wednesday, which contributed to an unsatisfactory practice.
UP NEXT: Nebraska will hold its 22nd practice of the preseason this afternoon. The season opener against Florida Atlantic is Sept. 5.
