A former candidate for Nebraska's 2nd District congressional seat has announced his newest venture: a video blog to support local charities and fundraisers, among other things.
Jim Esch, a Democrat, lost his bid last year to unseat Republican Congressman Lee Terry by only 4 percentage points.
His new blog will also promote civic events and small businesses in Omaha “that are important to the growth and prosperity of our city.”
One of his first promotions is for the MAHA Music Festival set for Saturday at Lewis and Clark Landing along the Missouri River in Omaha.
