LINCOLN -- State Sen. Amanda McGill said she will seek re-election to the northeast Lincoln district she has served since 2006.
McGill, a 29-year-old former broadcaster, said she wants to continue to focus on health care, public safety and economic growth.
A graduate of Millard North High School, McGill was chair of the children in crisis task force that formed last fall in response to children being left at hospitals under the state's former Safe Haven law. She is also chair of the Legislature's urban affairs committee.
