Omaha City Councilman Chuck Sigerson remains hospitalized after suffering a stroke and heart attack over the weekend.
His friend, former City Councilman Jim Vokal, said Monday that Sigerson was at a “critical stage in his recovery.”
Sigerson, 64, a longtime council member, is at Lakeside Hospital, where a hospital spokeswoman was not releasing further information on his condition.
He was taken to the west Omaha hospital Saturday night in critical condition.
