LINCOLN -- The Nebraska National Forest and Grasslands will receive $644,000 in federal stimulus funds for deferred maintenance projects, officials announced Thursday.
Among other things, the funds will be used to repair and update the Scott Lookout Tower at Halsey, Neb., and the Hudson-Meng Education & Research Center building near Crawford, Neb., said Jane Darnell, supervisor of the the Nebraska forests.
