Some children in Blair found a grenade while playing and brought it to their house Saturday, authorities said.
Their father contacted police about 6 p.m.
The area around the house was evacuated, and the Omaha Police Department's bomb squad responded.
It was not immediately known if the grenade was live and an actual threat, a Washington County 911 dispatcher said. — Susan Szalewski
