In special elections, voters in Holdrege and Ogallala said no to school bond proposals, but in Kearney the answer was yes.
The Kearney measure gives the district board approval to issue up to $45 million in bonds to build two elementary schools and renovate other district buildings. Also on Tuesday, the Kearney voters passed a five-year levy override of up to 10 cents more per $100 of valuation.
In Holdrege, voters rejected a $17 million bond measure that would have provided the district with one consolidated school to replace three.
Ogallala voters rejected a $30.6 million bond proposal.
