Fund set up to help Cooper, family

A fund has been set up to benefit an Alvo man injured in a fall at the Nebraska State Fair.

Greg Cooper, 41, suffered head injuries Sept. 4 when he fell about 20 feet from the second-floor concessions area at the fair's grandstand.

A spokeswoman at Bryan­LGH Medical Center West in Lincoln said Wednesday that he was in critical condition.

Cooper is married and has an 11-year-old daughter.
