A 24-year-old Lincoln man was killed in a crash in Davey, Neb. early this morning.
At about 12:50 a.m., a 1995 Ford Explorer was traveling east on Cedar Street in the small town north of Lincoln. The vehicle veered off the road and entered a yard, striking two trees and a parked 1994 Oldsmobile.
Emergency responders took passenger James Hornung, 24, to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lincoln where he was pronounced dead.
The driver, 24-year-old Kyle Socha, was hospitalized for observation.
Investigators said neither was wearing a seatbelt.
