Is Miley Cyrus' Friday night date in Omaha's Qwest Center in jeopardy?
The teen singing sensation fell sick during her show in Salt Lake City Tuesday night. Her Twitter page said she had strep.
The Salt Lake City Tribune said she left her Tuesday show with flu-like symptoms, but returned to the stage and finished the performance.
Cyrus' Twitter page had this remark posted today: "Keep your fingers crossed Omaha. I am not feeling too good this morning.... Back to sleep. Night night."
Tom O'Gorman, the Qwest Center's vice president of corporate sales and marketing, said this afternoon that he hadn't heard Cyrus was sick, but also had heard no indication that the Omaha show would not go on.
Normally, if there's going to be a problem with a show the arena people will get a heads-up a couple days ahead of time, O'Gorman said.
He said e-mails were going back and forth between Cyrus' people and the Qwest Center about dressing room supplies and other arrangements -- normal indications that a show is going to take place as scheduled.
