'Aladdin'? Really?

We admit it. We have some pretty embarrassing stuff on our iPods, too. Our staff looked at our playlists, and here's what we found:

Wes Taylor
Entertainment Writer

“I have broad taste — every Jay-Z album, all the Hendrix I can find, Death Cab For Cutie and Lupe Fiasco in bulk — and I don't embarrass easy, but even I flinch when people find Paramore's ‘Riot!' in my albums list.

“True, my girlfriend and I shared a music library for a while, and I did not add it purposely. But it's not her fault that I listen to it when I'm alone.”

Dane Stickney
Pop Culture Writer

“‘Fruit Salad' by the Wiggles is on there for my 4-year-old son, but I gotta say it's pretty catchy.

“‘Ode to My Family' by the Cranberries is definitely not manly, but I have a sweet tooth for the Cranberries.

“‘Trouble' by Pink. I detest top 40 music, but Pink is a guilty pleasure.”

Kevin Coffey
Music Writer

“Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Sheena Easton all take up space on the old iPod, but I think my worst offense might be the soundtrack to ‘Aladdin.' I've had the disc since someone bought if for me around the time of the film's release in 1992. I have to admit that the tracks get played — and I enjoy them — from time to time.”
