Eating sweet corn is a true Nebraska affair — where kids are corn fed (say Marilyn Carleo of Columbus, Neb., Emilie Sporcic of Bellevue and Sheryl Cloyd of Omaha), and that’s how they become true Cornhuskers, according to several students at Minden High School and St. Patrick Elementary in McCook.
