WASHINGTON (AP) -- Three doctors from Nebraska will be among those visiting the White House to discuss health care reform.
Amanda Renshaw McKinney, Jessica Meeske and Richard O'Brien were selected to represent Nebraska because of their work on such reform. They will participate in the forum, which will be held today in the Rose Garden.
McKinney is an obstetrician and gynecologist from Beatrice. She will stand on stage with President Obama during his address Monday.
Meeske is a pediatric dentist from Hastings who has helped organize free dental clinics for Nebraska's uninsured.
O'Brien is a medical doctor and professor at Creighton University's medical school. He has studied health care and reform for more than 20 years. He is co-chairman of the Nebraska Medical Association Health Care Reform Task Force.
