Preview of Bluffs primary

Council Bluffs holds its city primary on Tuesday. The Daily Nonpareil has posed a series of questions to the candidates running for mayor and for seats on the City Council. See the questions and the answers here:

Mayor

Question No. 1: Why have you decided to run for mayor?

Question No. 2: Please prioritize what you think are the three main issues … Priority No. 1, Priority No. 2, etc. … facing the city and briefly explain how you would address them.

Question No. 3: What role, if any, should the city have in retaining and/or revitalizing the Mall of the Bluffs?

Question No. 4: The city has a stake in ensuring more students graduate from high school. What role should the city take on helping that happen?

City Council
