Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill's doctored photo showing Nebraska Sen. Ben Nelson in full Mizzou mode.

Senators swap football pranks

WASHINGTON – An ongoing prank war between Sens. Ben Nelson, D-Neb., and Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., continued today ahead of this evening's Nebraska-Missouri football game.

McCaskill infiltrated Nelson's Capitol Hill office and put up various doctored photos depicting Nelson with Missouri gear.

One photo has him wearing a Missouri football helmet, another shows him with a Mizzou logo on his cheek and sporting a black-and-gold-striped tie.

In another, Nelson is hanging out with his “good friend” Truman, the Missouri mascot.

McCaskill even posted one of the photos on-line with the message “Great picture. Sen Nelson's new official portrait. Don't miss this.”

Nelson’s office retaliated by clipping a Nebraska flag over the Missouri flag in front of McCaskill’s office.
