The Creighton women's soccer team rocked Southern Utah 7-0 Sunday. It was Creighton's 10th shutout of the season and its third straight at home.
With a record of 10-5-1, the Bluejays have now won 10 or more games in the last three seasons and in seven of the past nine.
Andrea Zuniga scored the game-winning goal in the 21st minute of the game. Seven Jays scored, including Kat Wright, who got her first collegiate goal, and Emily Orbell for her team-leading sixth score of the season.
Mary Zapapas had three assists, tying a Morrison Stadium record and matching Orbell for the Missouri Valley Conference lead with five assists this season. As a team, Creighton leads the Valley with 37 goals.
The Jays will return to action Sunday, hosting Northern Iowa in their final regular season home match.
