4 p.m.: How about a short break from football for some Big 12 golf news with a Nebraska tie.
Texas A&M's John Hurley, a junior from O'Neill, Neb., won the individual title Monday in the 12-team Lone Star Invitational in San Antonio.
Hurley finished at 10-under par (71-64-71) to win by one stroke. His 8-under 64 in the second round tied the A&M school record for low score. Hurley just missed birdies on 17 and 18 that would have broken the mark.
Overall, the defending national champion Aggies won the team title by 10 strokes with a 16-under total.
