OVERTON, Neb. (AP) — All rail lines are open at the site where an eastbound Union Pacific coal train derailed in central Nebraska.
U.P. spokesman Tom Lange said no one was injured when 39 of 136 cars went off the track between Lexington and Overton shortly after midnight Saturday.
The train originated in Wyoming and was heading to Arbor, Neb.
Lange said two of the three lines reopened Saturday night, and a third reopened early Sunday.
The cleanup continues as investigators look into what caused the cars to derail.
