Anorexia complications confirmed

Preliminary autopsy reports of college student Hilary Pile indicate her death was natural, caused by complications of anorexia, said Amy Miller, deputy Wayne County Attorney.

The full autopsy has not been completed, Miller said Thursday, and tests are still being done to determine exactly how Pile died. The autopsy is being performed at St. Luke's Hospital in Sioux City, Iowa.

Pile, 19, was found dead Saturday in her dorm room at Wayne State College. Friends said she had struggled with anorexia since she was in eighth grade.
