Carve your own Jack-Bo-Lantern

Meet Boo Pelini. He's fiery, he's intense and he's a heck of a lot more fun than your traditional jack-o-lantern. Use our pattern to create a Jack-Bo-Lantern. Chances are trick-or-treaters — and their Husker-loving parents — will get a chuckle out of a Pelini pumpkin on your porch. Unless, of course, they've ever called a penalty against Nebraska.

Instructions: Supplies needed: Scissors or X-Acto knife, marker, tape, small carving knife, candle.

Step 1: Cut along all the dotted lines, removing the white areas.

Step 2: Tape the stencil to the side of your pumpkin.

Step 3: Trace the pattern onto your pumpkin with a marker or pencil. Step 4: Clean it out, carve it up and add some candles. Voila! Jack-Bo-Lantern.
