1. Texas (8-0, 5-0)

• Last week: Beat Oklahoma State 41-14. Up next: Central Florida, 11 a.m., FSN. The Longhorns don't have to leave the state of Texas for their final four games or for the Big 12 championship tilt.

2. Oklahoma (5-3, 3-1)

• Last week: Beat Kansas State 42-30. Up next: at Nebraska, 7 p.m., ABC. The Sooners' hopes for a fourth straight Big 12 title are gone, so will they lose some focus or keep on pushing?

3. Oklahoma State (6-2, 3-1)

• Last week: Lost to Texas 41-14. Up next: at Iowa State, 2:30 p.m., ABC. With QB Zac Robinson coming off his worst game and with title hopes dashed, the Cowboys are facing a classic trap game in Ames.

4. Texas Tech (6-3, 3-2)

• Last week: Beat Kansas 42-21. Up next: Idle. The Red Raiders went 3-0 against the North Division, outscoring Kansas State, Nebraska and Kansas 139-45.

5, Kansas State (5-4, 3-2)

• Last week: Lost to Oklahoma 42-30. Up next: Kansas, 11:30 a.m., Versus. The Wildcats could potentially clinch the North title by winning home games the next two weeks against Kansas and Missouri.

6. Texas A&M (5-3, 2-2)

• Last week: Beat Iowa State 35-10. Up next: at Colorado, 12:30 p.m., Fox College Sports. Who would have dreamed that after getting blown up by Arkansas and Kansas State that the Aggies now would be just one win from a bowl bid.

7. Kansas (5-3, 1-3)

• Last week: Lost to Texas Tech 42-21. Up next: at Kansas State, 11:30 a.m., Versus. The Jayhawks have been a disappointment. KU must beat K-State, Nebraska and Missouri to have any chance to claim the North.

8. Iowa State (5-4, 2-3)

• Last week: Lost to Texas A&M 35-10. Up next: Oklahoma State, 2:30 p.m., ABC. What better way would there be for the Cyclones to become bowl eligible than by pulling a big upset at home?

9. Nebraska (5-3, 2-2)

• Last week: Beat Baylor 20-10. Up next: Oklahoma, 7 p.m., ABC. The last time Nebraska was shut out was 19-0 at Arizona State in 1996. The last time NU never crossed the 50-yard line was a 27-0 loss in 1973 at OU.

10. Missouri (5-3, 1-3)

• Last week: Beat Colorado 36-17. Up next: Baylor, 1 p.m. The Tigers' one-game revival needs to turn into a long streak of good play in order to get back into North Division contention.

11. Baylor (3-5, 0-4)

• Last week: Lost to Nebraska 20-10. Up next: at Missouri, 1 p.m. It's a road game for the Bears. Although with their brutal fan support, it's difficult to tell the difference between home and road games.

12. Colorado (2-6, 1-3)

• Last week: Lost to Missouri 36-17. Up next: Texas A&M, 12:30 p.m., Fox College Sports. How do you fall behind 33-0 at home to a team on a three-game skid? Just another reason Dan Hawkins (15-30) is feeling more heat.
