LOUP CITY, Neb. (AP) — A Litchfield man convicted of sexually abusing a child will be sentenced Dec. 4.
A Sherman County jury convicted Charles Fieldgrove last week on four counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child.
Each count carries a maximum 50-year prison sentence.
A news release from Attorney General Jon Bruning’s office says the 48-year-old Fieldgrove began abusing the girl when she was in the fourth grade. She reported it to authorities four years later, in 2006.
