A Council Bluffs man was killed Saturday night when his motorcycle collided with a vehicle on Old Railroad Highway in Council Bluffs.
Eric Scott Jacobsen, 29, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash at Railroad Highway and 205th Street around 6:45 p.m.
Annette Louise Goeser, 44, of Council Bluffs was headed northbound in her Honda Civic when she failed to yield before turning left onto 205th Street. Jacobsen's motorcycle broadsided Goeser's car on the passenger side.
Jacbosen was wearing a helmet.
Jacob Michael Goeser, 16, and Cody Joseph Goeser, 12, were traveling in the car with Annette Goeser at the time of the crash. All three were wearing seatbelts and were taken to Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs to be treated for injuries.
