An argument between two Council Bluffs roommates Sunday night ended with one being stabbed and the other under arrest.
The two men were arguing at about 7:30 p.m. in a parking lot at 808 S. 21st St. near Goofy's Bar in Council Bluffs, police said. Luis Cordoba, 28, is accused of stabbing Pedro Gonzalez, 39, in the heat of the exchange.
A witness took Gonzalez to Alegent Health Mercy Hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening, police said. Reports indicated Gonzalez was stabbed in the stomach and hand. He underwent surgery and was in stable condition early Monday.
Cordoba was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder at the scene of the stabbing.
