Bluejays receive letter from 6-11 Iowa player

Will Artino of Waukee, Iowa, signed a letter of intent Wednesday to play basketball at Creighton at a signing ceremony at the school.

Artino is a 6-foot-11 forward who committed in August. Another player, 6-8 forward Keithrick Denson of Navarro Junior College in Corsicana, Texas, committed last week and was expected to sign his letter Wednesday.

As of late Wednesday, Creighton had not received Denson’s paperwork. NCAA rules prohibit coaches from commenting on players until the school receives the official letter of intent.
