    TENNIS

    State tournament will be separate again

    LINCOLN — The Nebraska School Activities Association board voted Thursday to return to separate Class A and Class B high school tennis championships beginning with the girls meet next spring.

    On a 6-0 vote, Class A will remain in Omaha and Class B will return to Lincoln.

    During last month's combined boys state meet in Omaha, inclement weather forced meet officials to hold first-day matches in Class B at the indoor Hanscom Tennis Center and all semifinals and finals the next day at the same site. Lack of spectator accommodations was a reason the NSAA cited in its vote Thursday
