Nebraska returned to two polls Sunday — the USA Today coaches' poll and the Harris Interactive Poll — at No. 25 after a five-week absence.
The Huskers are tied for the final spot in the coaches' poll with North Carolina. Both teams are 7-3.
NU remains two spots outside the Associated Press Top 25.
The Huskers take a three-game winning streak into the de facto Big 12 North title game Saturday night at Memorial Stadium against Kansas State.
For the second consecutive week, just two teams from the Big 12 made the AP poll — Texas at No. 3 and Oklahoma State at No. 12.
The Longhorns and Cowboys both remain in contention for the South crown, though Texas can clinch a spot in the Dec. 5 title game with a win Saturday at home against Kansas.
