Dana College’s second show of the theater season is a one-man production, “Confessions of a Nightingale” performed by Luther Simon of Omaha. The show will be presented in the Lauritzen Theatre of the Madsen Fine Arts Center Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and again on Nov. 22 at 6:30 p.m. Admission is free. This is Simon’s senior project.

The University of Nebraska at Omaha will showcase international education this week, in observance of U.S. International Education Week. A variety of events are planned to allow international students to share their heritage. Most activities are free and open to the public. In all, 102 countries — ranging from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe — were represented at UNO in the past year.

A 7:30 p.m. Tuesday concert hosted by Wayne State College and the John G. Neihardt State Historic Site will feature “The Time Cycle.” It was composed by Wayne State’s Philip Pfaltzgraff and inspired by the poetry of alumnus Neihardt. The concert is in Ramsey Theatre on campus.
