NORFOLK, Neb. -- Pierce County officials have confirmed that the body found Saturday is that of missing Norfolk woman Lacey Anderson.
The results of an autopsy and examination conducted Monday caused investigators to conclude it was Anderson, said Pierce County Attorney Verlyn Luebbe.
Anderson, 19, had been reported as missing Aug. 23. She had last been seen at a Norfolk apartment where she lived with her mother.
Law enforcement authorities continue to investigate this case. Anyone with information about Anderson's disappearance or death should call Pierce or Madison county law enforcement.
