    NU prepares to host Bengals

    • Idaho State scouting report: There are seven freshmen listed on the ISU 15-player roster. Three of those first-year players (Vella, Oakes and Morgan Wohltman) are among the team's top four scorers. ... The Bengals made 10 of their 22 3-point attempts in a seven-point loss at Saint Mary's. They were just 5 for 16 from 3-point range against Cal, losing 100-43. ... The Big Sky Conference coaches picked Idaho State to finish fifth in the league.

    • NU scouting report: Senior Kelsey Griffin, named Wednesday to the Naismith Trophy preseason watch list, has averaged 11 points and 10 rebounds in just 20.5 minutes in her return from a foot injury that sidelined her all of last season. .... True freshman point guard Lindsey Moore has averaged 6 assists in her first two games. As a team last season, Nebraska averaged a Big 12-worst 11.2 assists per game. ... Senior Yvonne Turner, who's come off the bench twice now, is the team's leading scorer at 13.0 points per game. ... NU has turned the ball over 48 times in two games.
