• NU scouting report: Senior Kelsey Griffin, named Wednesday to the Naismith Trophy preseason watch list, has averaged 11 points and 10 rebounds in just 20.5 minutes in her return from a foot injury that sidelined her all of last season. .... True freshman point guard Lindsey Moore has averaged 6 assists in her first two games. As a team last season, Nebraska averaged a Big 12-worst 11.2 assists per game. ... Senior Yvonne Turner, who's come off the bench twice now, is the team's leading scorer at 13.0 points per game. ... NU has turned the ball over 48 times in two games.
• Opening tips: Idaho State is playing the last of three road games to start the season. The Bengals have four more before Dec. 9. ... Nebraska and Idaho State have never met. The only other time the Huskers have played a team from that state, they defeated Idaho 107-74 in 1993.
