SYRACUSE, Neb. (AP) — Authorities in southeast Nebraska say a 26-year-old man is dead following a crash near Syracuse.
Tyler Isaacs died after his car went off a road two miles west of Syracuse and rolled Thursday morning, according to the Otoe County Sheriff’s Department. The Syracuse man’s car also struck a train coal car along the way.
Isaacs, who was traveling alone, was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle, according to the sheriff’s department.
A passing motorist reported the crash hours later, around 11:30 a.m.
The crash remains under investigation.
