This afternoon, the Norris Public Power District announced it had restored power to the last of its residential customers affected by recent storms in southeastern Nebraska.
Some non-residential customers remain without power after wet, snowy weather earlier this week left 4,200 without power. The district said it would focus now on restoring power to those remaining customers.
Most of the storm damage was concentrated in southern Jefferson, Gage and Thayer counties. Wet, heavy snow and wind broke several power poles and downed power lines.
