This big cat has had a lot more than nine lives.
It has been “killed'' in several locations, including Iowa, Kansas, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, among many others.
The latest was in southwest South Dakota, where a hunter supposedly shot it after he felt as if he was being stalked by the mountain lion. The man in the photo is 5-foot-10.
After the picture was sent to The World-Herald, the Nebraska Game and Parks did a little investigating.
The 190-pound cougar was killed in 2002 near Bellevue, Wash., and was featured in Fair Chase magazine. The picture has been making the rounds on the Internet for years.
