    Husker runner finishes 113th at national meet

    TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — Nebraska's Lara Crofford finished 113th out of 254 runners with a time of 21 minutes, 24 seconds in the NCAA Division I women's cross country meet Monday.

    A junior from Newville, Pa., Crofford first competed as an individual in 2007, finishing 85th. Crofford then led the 2008 Husker women with a 45th-place showing, while the team placed 25th.
