The schedule for the Omaha Royals’ 2010 season, the team’s final one at Rosenblatt Stadium before moving to Sarpy County, was released Tuesday.
The Royals open the season Thursday, April 8, with a 7:05 game against Memphis, the first of 72 home games.
Because of College World Series requirements for a championship series rain date, the Royals’ series with Iowa from April 29 through May 2 and July 1 through 3 are split, with one game of each series being played in the others’ parks.
The Royals have only 18 home games scheduled in June and July.
The final regular season game scheduled at Rosenblatt is a 7:05 p.m. game Sept. 2 against Round Rock.
