Tyler Bullock had 20 points in 22 minutes to lead six UNO players in double figures in an easy 113-75 victory Tuesday night over Peru State.
Dion Curry scored 16 points, Eugene Bain and Matthew Starks each had 12, and Jeff Martin and Josh Lynch had 11 apiece for the Mavericks (3-0).
Bullock hit 6 of 7 from the field and 8 of 9 from the free throw line, and he also had six rebounds and four assists. In his past two games, Bullock is averaging 24 points while making 18 of 20 field goals. He was 3 for 4 from the field in the season opener, putting him at 21 of 24 (87.5 percent) for the season.
Andrew Bridger had nine assists for the Mavs, who were credited with 33 assists on their 38 field goals. UNO shot 65.5 percent (38 of 58) from the field, while coming within six points of the single-game school record of 119 points set in the 1978-79 season.
UNO plays Friday and Saturday in Grand Island, Neb., against Chadron State and Wayne State, respectively.
