Neb. man accused of child porn

COLUMBUS, Neb. (AP) — A Columbus man is facing 11 charges of possessing child pornography.

Platte County Judge Frank Skorupa ruled Tuesday that there is enough evidence to try 42-year-old Leander Ford on the charges.

Police arrested Ford in late October after a search of his home revealed pornographic videos featuring children on his computer.

Ford remains free on bond after posting $1,000 earlier this month.

Each one of the charges Ford faces carries a sentence of up to 20 years in prison.
