LINCOLN (AP) At a Lincoln gathering in December, Nebraska educators and policymakers will discuss the states strengths and weaknesses in math education.
The summit is presented by the Center for Science, Mathematics and Computer Education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. It is scheduled for Dec. 14.
Those in attendance will discuss statewide policy, school-district assessment and classroom practices.
Speakers include Gov. Dave Heineman, University of Nebraska President J.B. Milliken and Roger Breed, state education commissioner.
The registration deadline is Nov. 30.
