A dispute between two groups of men led to the shooting at the BP service station at 30th and Dodge Streets late Thursday.

Two Omaha men suffered gunshot wounds. Daniel Zamudio, 20, was in "very critical condition," but as of Friday morning, his injuries did not appear to be life threatening, police said. Pablo Vasquez, 30, also suffered injuries that were not life threatening, police said.

Both men were taken by private vehicle to Creighton University Medical Center.

The shooting happened just before 11:30 p.m. The dispute between the two groups began at the BP, police said.

When the men in one group left the service station, several people associated with the other side gave chase. One person inside a car then fired several shots, police said.

Police cordoned off the gas station and a section of North 30th Street. Broken glass was visible on the 30th Street driveway to the service station.
